OUTREACH COORDINATOR/ SPECIALIST (AFROBAROMETER)
The Person Must be energetic, result oriented and willing to travel within Ghana and other West
African Countries.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to identify and broaden stakeholder base of the Afrobarometer and coordinate all outreach programs.
Skills
Ability to:
• Develop outreach strategies for the dissemination of survey results
• Plan and conduct public outreach programs to disseminate results of surveys on African political, economic and governance reforms to key audience
• Develop outreach materials like manuals, handouts, slide shows, media releases, fact sheets etc.
• Reduce complex text to simple and non-technical forms using visuals, text, etc.
• Represent the Afrobarometer network and its partners at high level public events and in the media at national, sub-regional and international levels
Requirements
• The Candidate must possess a master’s degree or its equivalent in the social sciences,
communication studies, development studies, administration etc.
• Must have basic knowledge of survey methodology
• Must have basic understanding of descriptive statistics, charts, figures and other graphics
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
(Fluency in the French language will be an additional advantage)
• Must have a pleasant disposition and excellent communication skills
• Should have worked in a similar position for a minimum of 3 years
Remuneration: This position will attract competitive remuneration based on qualification
and experience.

A pharmaceutical distribution centre, based in Tema, Ghana has an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacist who is looking for a new challenge.

The Managing Pharmacist will:
 Ensure the efficient operation of the Distribution Centre (DC)
 Implement and enforce compliance with the DC’s approved SOPs, Quality Manual and Health and Safety Policy.
 Ensure implementation and compliance to maintenance contracts and service level agreements with outsourced service providers
 Liaise with all local regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements
 Business development – market the DC to develop commercial contracts
 Manage and train staff

The successful candidate must
 Demonstrate good management and personnel skills, encouraging effective teamwork between staff members
 Ensure that clients receive an excellent professional service
 Have a BPharm Hons Degree or higher
 Be registered with the Ghana Pharmacy Council
 Have a Post-graduate Diploma in Management or equivalent experience
 Have 2 – 5 years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
 Have excellent organizational and planning skills
 Work well under pressure to meet deadlines and set targets
 Have good verbal and written communication skills
 Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email (this will be tested)
